Restina · Last updated 31 August 2026

Restina restores old photographs. This page explains what the app collects, what it sends elsewhere, and how long anything is kept.

Photos you upload

To restore a photograph, the app sends it to our processing partner.

Retention: 7 days. Processed images expire automatically on our provider's storage one week after they are created. We keep no copy of your photographs on our own servers. That expiry is the whole retention of the product.

Results are never handed out as a public link. Every image is delivered through our own endpoint after we check that the request belongs to the device that created it.

Face data

Photographs of people are the point of this app, so it is worth being exact.

Other information we collect

Your IP addressrate limiting and abuse prevention only. It is not used to build a profile
Product analytics events, such as which screens you open and whether a restoration succeededto find where the app fails people
