Restina restores old photographs. This page explains what the app collects, what it sends elsewhere, and how long anything is kept.
Photos you upload
To restore a photograph, the app sends it to our processing partner.
- You choose each photo through the system picker. The app does not read your photo library. Only the individual images you pick are processed.
- You must have the right to upload any photo you submit, including the permission of anyone depicted in it.
Retention: 7 days. Processed images expire automatically on our provider's storage one week after they are created. We keep no copy of your photographs on our own servers. That expiry is the whole retention of the product.
Results are never handed out as a public link. Every image is delivered through our own endpoint after we check that the request belongs to the device that created it.
Face data
Photographs of people are the point of this app, so it is worth being exact.
- We do not identify anyone.
- We do not create, collect, or store biometric templates, faceprints, or face geometry.
- Faces are processed only as part of the image, and only to produce the restoration you asked for.
Other information we collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location. There is no account and no registration.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Children
Restina is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
Because there is no account, most data is tied to a device rather than to a person.
- Uploaded and restored images disappear on their own after 7 days.
- Deleting the app stops all further collection.
- Write to [email protected] with a request about your data and we will answer.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, say so in the app.
